Verizon to double LTE reach in 2012, hints LTE iPhone again

Verizon's wireless CTO David Small in conversation late Tuesday mapped out an aggressive LTE coverage expansion along with strong hints of an eventual LTE-capable iPhone. Small told the Wall Street Journal that coverage would climb from 200 areas so far to "at least" 400 by the end of 2012.
