Here comes Thanksgiving, the start of the very busy holiday season. And, as with most things, there are apps that will help you make meal preparation better and celebrating even more fun. Let me show you some apps you may want to gobble up this year.
The cooking site Chow is a great resource for any kind of meal preparation but especially for the big ones like Thanksgiving Dinner. For iPhone users, they also have a terrific app – The Chow Thanksgiving Dinner Coach. It’s free What I like abut this is it is not information overload. The apps has nine of the easiest and most delicious traditional Thanksgiving recipes, along with a clear, follow-along instructions. Choose which dishes you want to make, and the app guides you step by step Thanksgiving Day meal preparation and the shopping you need beforehand, too.
After dinner, you need dessert. On Thanksgiving, that means pie. And Appetite’s $2.99 Easy as Pie iPhone and iPad app shows you how-to create from scratch 20 homemade pies, doughs, and toppings in over 5 hours of step-by-step video recipes. Oh yeah…
Finally, head over to the My Net Diary website or get its mobile apps for the Apple and Android smartphones and tablets to detail how many calories you consumed on Thanksgiving and, more importantly, how you can lose it before all those Christmas parties start arriving.
