iPhone 4 is best one yet, despite design issue

They’ve become major events in and of themselves… The release of a new version of the iPhone. And the new one that just came out – the iPhone 4 – is no exception. What’s all the fuss about?

For starters, this is the best one yet, despite the widespread issues over signal strength when users hold the case a certain way.

Slimmer, trimmer, faster, more powerful, longer lasting battery.. Yada, yada yada. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?  But it’s all true and no less impressive with the new iPhone 4 which again takes smart phones to a whole new level of, well, smartness.

With the iPhone 4 is a new operating system – something even the older phones can get.

Biggest improvement on the new phone is in the camera. It’s now 5 megapixels and, with the iMovie app for iPhone 4 (coming soon at $4.99), can actually edit video. That’s huge.

The standard rear camera is joined by a new front camera, and the iPhone 4 can now make direct video calls to other iPhone 4′s using a cool new feature called Face Time.

But check the screen. Brilliant. Bright. Beautiful. Much more resolution than previous models. Stunning is not an overstatement here.

See this little metal band? That’s the new antenna system. It makes for better phone and data reception, as well as unmoved wi-fi coverage.

And the iPhone 4 now should last throughout the day before needing recharging, with a very respectable 7 hours of talk time when usi ng 3G, more when on 2G.

The iPhone 4 is available at Apple and AT&T retail stores, online and some big box stores like Best Buy, for either $199 or $299, depending on memory, for a two year contract.
