Our digital lives are in our smartphones these days. And sometimes, we need to share that information with other smartphones and computers. This week, we have an app suggestion that makes that process very easy and kinda fun.
Bump is one very handy app for the iPhone and Android platforms that lets you transfer just about anything between devices and your computer.
It’s totally free. You open the app, select what you want to share — pictures, videos, documents, reports…whatever. Then…just bump. You can bump smartphones to send data between them.
Or, to send files to or from your computer, you go to the bump website on the computer. Open it, and then bump your mobile device to the computer keyboard. Everything transfers seamlessly.
All this is totally free…unless you want to swap HD photos. For that, you need a 99-cent upgrade. Bump… it’s pretty darn cool.

Can you send me the link to bump for IPAD? I just installed it on my phone, but can find the corresponding app for iPad. Thanks!
Is there any way to bump mp3s? I’m trying to share mp3 files downloaded to itunes on my mac (they have not been purchased from the iTunes website), with my iPad and I’m starting to think there is no way to get my PC music onto my iPad for free…
Any advice is appreciated!!
Thanks.
I cannot locate the app Bump to download to my android smart phone. can you help?
