With tens of thousands of apps, or programs, available for these mobile devices, just sorting through what’s hot and what’s not can be quite daunting. That’s the website Appolicious is a must check.
Think of it as a consumer guide for smartphone applications. It concentrates on apps for the iPad, the iPhone and Andoid devices. It offers news of the latest releases, reviews on what programs work and what, well, aren’t worth the download.
Once you register for the site, Appoliciious checks the applications you have already downloaded and then it builds recommendations for you as new apps come on the market that do the things you’re interested in.
But what I like best is checking the various categories and finding applications I didn’t even know existed. Then, when you find one that sounds promising, you can check the reader reviews to see what other Appolicious users think about them.
